Velvet Queen is a stunning multi-branch Sunflower variety that produces a vibrant orange- red bloom with a nearly dark brown central disc. Velvet Queen Sunflower grows between 1.5-1.8m (4-6') tall and produces many colorful 13-15cm (5-6") wide blooms. It is an early flowering type and with weekly planting intervals, you can extend the bloom period continually throughout the summer and into the fall. Flowers make a great addition for cut flowers with sturdy straight stems.
